Case study of the center of moderrn and contemporary art Kunsthalle Praha

The bachelor thesis focuses on a case study of the Center of Contemporary and Modern Art Kunsthalle Prague by analyzing the marketing mix and interpreting the data obtained through a questionnaire survey. The theoretical part of the thesis presents a brief history of the institution and analyses the 4P tools based on the theory defined by marketing theorist Edmund J. McCarthy. The analysis also defined the institution's competitors and added a subsection on online marketing. The practical part deals with the evaluation of data collected through a questionnaire survey in order to answer predefined hypotheses concerning the attendance of both Kunsthalle Prague and other cultural institutions. The survey was conducted among current and incoming university students and recent graduates. Using a combination of quantitative and qualitative research, data was collected that could be statistically interpreted to find causal relationships between them. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to present the history and communication mix of the aforementioned modern and contemporary art center, but above all to define the relationship between this institution and university students. Whether this institution represents an attractive place for them to visit and why.
Qualitative analysis of students affects during Covid-19

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the affects of university students during the covid-19 pandemic. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the pandemic situation in the Czech Republic, then deals with the effects on the psyche of the population in general and then describes risk groups and coping strategies of university students in more detail. Finally, it presents the results of studies carried out in the Czech environment. The empirical part presents statements from the extensive psychological research of Jupsycor, carried out by the Section of Psychology, Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty of Education of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.
The use of smart drugs by college students

The bachelor thesis focuses on the use of smart drugs by university students. This phenomenon is becoming more popular in society, but it has not been properly researched and debated in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to describe experiences of smart drug use among selected university students in the Czech Republic and to understand their motivations for using them. The first part of the thesis, the theoretical part, describes what smart drugs are, what their prevalence is and how their use can be viewed through moral and social behavioural perspectives. The theoretical part also discusses how the use can be viewed as a social problem or a solution to social problems. In the second part of the thesis, the methodological part, the aims of the thesis, the research questions, the chosen research methods and the ethical aspects of the research are presented. The last part of the thesis, the analytical part, is devoted to the analysis of the collected data. Survey of the patterns of waterpipe use among Prague university students

Background: Even though a waterpipe has its origin and tradition in Asian and African states, more than 30 years ago this trend started spreading in our country and gained considerable popularity mostly among youth. The patterns of use of waterpipe among young people are still not getting enough attention though. In the Czech Republic as well as lots of other states there is lack of functional waterpipe-specific policy, regulation and preventive and therapeutic interventions. The health risks of waterpipe use are comparable to other burning tobacco products but public sees it as less harmful due to myths such as the toxins in smoke are filtrated in water. Aim: The aim of this thesis is to investigate patterns of use of waterpipe among Prague university students per online survey with a focus on the first use, current frequency of usage and parallel usage of other tobacco and nicotine products, motivation to abstinence, characteristics of waterpipe session and knowledge of risks. Differences in the level of spirituality among university students of social and exact sciences

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to describe the specific situation of religion in the Czech Republic in the historical context and to attempt to put spirituality and its importance into the said context. Another goal is to find out whether there is a difference in the degree of spirituality between university students of social sciences and students of exact sciences. Besides, the thesis maps spirituality of university students in general and tries to find out if other demographic data, particulary gender and religiosity, influence the degree of spirituality. Other goals are presenting different views on definition of spirituality, its description from psychological perspective and its distinction from other related concepts, especially religiosity. This thesis also mentions spirituality as a part of psychology of religion and presents the perspectives of some authors, who dealt with spirituality. The thesis also lists various tools for measuring spirituality. In that subchapter the greatest emphasis is placed on the presentation of the Prague Spirituality Questionnaire, analysis of its subscales and overall evaluation. Is free will simply an illusion? Or is it justifiable that we have built on free will our whole human society, including the legal system? For several centuries, there has been a debate in philosophical and theological circles about whether there is a free will or, on the contrary, our life is determined from the very beginning. I would like to contribute to better understanding of free will through my Bachelor Thesis, especially from the point of view of the latest knowledge in psychology. Including history, various philosophical and theological conceptions of this phenomenon, I will deal with an influence of faith in free will on our psyche and happiness in life. The doctoral thesis (PhDr.) "Suggestion of Comprehensive Support of University Students with Special Educational Needs in the Inclusive Education Environment" was about support of Czech university students with special educational needs. This piece of work evaluated the present condition of university support for students with special educational needs in the Czech Republic and revealed the most serious problems of university support as well as possibilities of better support of these students in the environment of inclusive education. In practical part of this thesis, a questionnaire was used to learn about university students' awareness of the system of support at their university and to learn about their attitudes towards support service. Analyses of the questionnaires uncovered differences about university students' awareness of the system of support at their university and their attitudes towards support service between students with and without special educational needs. Motherhood among undergraduate women

Thesis "Motherhood during university studies" deals with the the topic of motherhood among undergraduate women, whose attitude towards having children whilst studying differs from that of their schoolmates. The author asks questions about how these women interpret the fact that they have children during their university studies and how they harmonize their studies with childcare. She did a qualitative research among undergraduate women who had a baby during their studies. In the theoretical part, the author deals with current trends in demographic behaviour, with structural and institutional conditions connected with parenthood and cultural trends of parenthood in Czech Republic. Because of the research, the author concludes that within undergraduate women there is a group of students that plan to have a baby during their studies because they are against the majority age norms of having babies at the age of thirty. They can harmonize studies with childcare because of the support of their families. If these women are motivated to finish their studies, they can develop many strategies to accomplish it.

The work is dedicated to the demand among one of the most important segment on the tourism market: university students. Its main aim is to find out the preferences, requirements and motives of this target segment in the field of tourism. On the basis of the answers gained from a questionnaire survey, trends in demand among contemporary university students will be summarized. These trends may be used as a recommendation for the providers of services in the field of tourism when choosing the proper marketing strategy in relation to this segment.
